[The Spirit of Halloween 2]

the good:
oh my god, this has to be the funniest flash movie i have seen in my life! :D
it was just funny from beginning to the end, this was just great.
the graphics are really awesome, the lip syncing is nicely done and the voice acting is outstanding (whish more flash artist would put only half the effort in their voice acting as you did).

the bad:
it lagged on my pc, even in low quality :(

the ugly:
very good movie with great animations, superb graphics and great voice acting. unfortunately it was so graphic intense, that my pc began to lag quite bad... but i give you a 10/10 anyways.

Ah, that's lousy. A friend of mine has a lower end PC, so my stuff often lags on theirs as well. Drives me nuts.
Wish there was something I could do about that, but aside from providing quality control buttons, I'm powerless in that area.

the good:
very nice graphics and great animations. The voice acting is very good, too.
the story itself is both: senseless and yet so awesome! :)

the bad:
sometimes the room for the subtitles isn't enough to show it all. so one is left with just half the sentence.

the ugly:
very interesting flash you created here. i like the kinda senseless story.
and maybe you can fix the problem with the subtitles, that would be great ;) .

Oh shit, maybe THAT is what everyone was talking about. Damn, I thought I fixed that. Crap. Sorry about that. I know how to fix it, it's just re-uploading that would be the problem (my poor ass still has dialup). Although the dialogue isn't too hard to understand, so it's not terribly needed. I will try to work on it, though. Thanks for the review!

the good:
"awwww, cute..." was the first thing i thought. and yes, it really was cute :) .
your drawing style is pretty amazing. you managed to get all those feelings of the little girl (and those animals) in their facial expression. one can easily see, who the characters feel at any time.
the plot isn't that original, but you presented it in a very good way. And that's the most important thing, as nearly all plots have already been done at some time.
the music fit well into the flash.

the bad:
some more sounds had been nice. if one could hear how the wind blows around the kite, that would be great.

the ugly:
it's a very good flash and i really liked it. but what was that animal doing there in the preloader? XD

the good:
i liked the graphics a lot. even though the characters were "cyanide and happiness"-style, you gave them some originality (ie the big eyes when the green guy hits the radio ^^). your animations were great. i especially liked the beginning, when you "zoomed in" and the houses and trees "moved" aside.
the sound effects were great, too.

the bad:
sometimes the view was a bit too close, so that the scenery was a bit hard to view as a whole.

the ugly:
you have created a masterpiece here. it had it all: good osund effects, great animations, good characters and good humour. great!
and congrats on the daily feature!

the good:
the graphics were awesome, the soundeffects were great. the music fit in this flash very well and the voice acting was just great.

the bad:
sometimes the voices are a bit too muted

the ugly:
i really liked that movie, although i don't like halo. i liked the fact that you had subtitles in it. that way one could get what the characters were saying the first time through.
looking forward to the next part of the series.

what was the point of this flash? i really don't get it...

try to add a story (or at least a point) to your flashes.. and make the screen bigger! it's no fun staring at a flash that is so damn small...

It was made during the 56k rush, before DSL and cable became popular/cheap, so there was an urge to keep it slim and compact.

There really isn't much to look at in general, so why make a huge-screened flash?

At the time, this was a popular song on this website, and the background was a common ad that everyone saw in the internet.

speakonia is bad

ok, i don't get it, but i wasn't around on ng at the time when this was submitted. so...
but another reason why i don't get it is, that i couldn't hardly understand a thing. speakonia is just not the right thing for voices, i guess. so try to add real voices instead.

Real voices would suck. Robot voices are way funnier than real voices, I wish more people would use them than contributing their bland untalented college-dork voices to their stupid anime flashes. I've never heard of "Speakonia", I used TextAloud.
